Size matters

The sizing of Doreva yams come in four different grades. The U.S. No. 1, medium, jumbo and a commercial grade. Doreva offers a "Foodservice Pack" which every potato is packed by the ounce and is size specific. Our Foodservice Packas are available in the U.S. No. 1 and jumbo grades only.

You can order our product packages serveral different ways. We offer the standard 40 pound carton, a 15 pound consumer pack carton, bulk (in watermelon bins), 3 pound bags (12 bags/carton or palletized), the new Huero carton (40 pounds), and will have available soon the 7, 10, and 13 pound cartons. The 7 pound carton ill be a special dealonly offered during the holiday seasons.

All of our yams are palletized unless specified different. We palletize 54 or 63 per pallet unless the order calls for less, such as half a pallet. Before the order hits the dock before loading, each pallet has been toed and wrapped to insure safe delivery. In the winter months or when our product is being transported with another product that needs a colder tempertature, we cold wrap every pallet before it gets loaded into the container to insure quality. If requested, or for load volume orders, we also carry temperature recorders for your convenience.

Doreva Product is open 24 hours a day for loading. A driver may call for an appointment or just show up and our night loader will come to get him loaded anc back on the road. There are also 24 hour telephone numbers to get in touch with someone if needed.
